Job summary

Progress Residential in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Service Technician III - HVAC to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems in our single-family rental homes. You will perform preventative maintenance, respond to service requests, and ensure safety and quality on each property.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years of general maintenance, HVAC certification, EPA certification, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years’ general service and maintenance experience (painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, drywall repair, etc.).
HVAC Certification from Technical College or Trade Program is preferred.
EPA Certification is required.
Must have own basic tools to perform ongoing residential service.
Valid driver’s license in the working state; reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Assess situations quickly and determine steps to resolve service requests while delivering outstanding customer service.
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections and service requests on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and more.
Diagnose and troubleshoot advanced issues, repair or replace defective equipment or components.
Report major repairs or replacements before any expenditure of funds.
Ensure property safety and compliance with company policies and regulations.
Complete service requests professionally and punctually, maintaining regular attendance and timeliness.
