Job summary

Progress Residential, L.P. is seeking a Service Technician III - HVAC to deliver outstanding service within our single-family rental homes.

You will inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems and support preventive maintenance on properties across our portfolio. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of general maintenance experience, EPA certification, and the ability to work independently, lift 50 pounds, and respond to on-call needs.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years’ general service and maintenance experience (painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, drywall repair, etc.).
• HVAC Certification (preferred) or equivalent technical training.
• EPA Certification required.
• Experience repairing residential appliances in customers’ homes is a plus.
• Own basic tools required for ongoing service.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems in Progress Residential homes.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and replacements as needed.
• Ensure safety and compliance with laws and regulations.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
• Provide excellent customer service and professionalism to residents and vendors.
