Job summary

Progress Residential is seeking a Service Technician III - HVAC to provide exceptional service in our single-family homes. You will inspect, troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems while coordinating with property management teams to control costs and ensure resident satisfaction.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years of general maintenance experience and EPA certification; owning basic tools and a valid driver’s license are required. On-call availability may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 5 years of general service and maintenance experience.
• EPA Certification required; HVAC Certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience maintaining HVAC and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems in Progress Residential single-family homes.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Diagnose advanced issues and repair or replace defective equipment.
• Report major repairs before expenditure of funds and ensure safety standards.
• Maintain timely, professional service and uphold company policies.
