Job summary

TDIndustries, Inc. is seeking a senior Building Technician III to lead and train other technicians while overseeing HVAC, water systems, and facility equipment across our Texas operations.

You will troubleshoot complex mechanical/electrical issues, manage spares, and collaborate with engineers on process improvements. Ideal candidates bring 5–7 years of HVAC experience, a relevant technical credential, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5-7 years HVAC experience.
• Current universal refrigeration license or related trade license.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Punctual, dependable, and able to work under deadlines.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to Building Technicians.
• Perform planned maintenance and repairs on facilities systems.
• Respond to service requests for plumbing, HVAC, lighting, and electrical.
• Troubleshoot building management and energy systems.
• Maintain safety compliance and proper PPE use.
• Collaborate with technicians to maintain mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and lighting systems.
• Record readings and logs accurately and take corrective actions.
• Organize tools and keep workspace clean.
• Contribute to process improvements and meet team goals.
