Job summary

TDIndustries, Inc. is seeking a senior Building Technician III to lead and mentor other technicians while overseeing HVAC setup, maintenance, balancing, water systems, and related process equipment.

The role involves advanced troubleshooting, inventory management, and partnering with engineers on process improvements. Responsibilities include responding to service requests, coordinating with the facilities team, and ensuring safety policies and SOPs are followed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.
• Current universal refrigeration license and/or other trade licenses as required.
• Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical work; HVAC basics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor other Building Technicians.
• Respond to facility service requests and diagnose issues.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems per SOPs.
• Collaborate with engineers on process improvements.
• Maintain inventory of tools and spare parts; assist with purchases.
• Ensure safety policies and proper PPE usage; accurate record keeping.
