Job summary

TDIndustries in Houston, TX seeks a senior Building Technician III to lead and train other technicians while overseeing maintenance of critical building systems, including HVAC and water purification. The position requires 5–7 years of relevant experience, a current refrigeration/trade license, and strong communication skills to support a team in a high-demand facility environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• TDLR license is required; technical degree is preferred.
• Current universal refrigeration license and/or other trade licenses as required.
• Minimum of 5–7 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of heating, ventilation and cooling systems; ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership, guidance, and training to other Building Technicians.
• Oversees operation and maintenance of critical building systems including HVAC, water systems, and process equipment.
• Responds to facility service work orders (plumbing, HVAC, lighting, electrical) and troubleshoots faults.
• Observes safety policies and uses PPE; promotes safety among crew.
• Collaborates with engineers and other technicians to implement process improvements.
• Maintains accurate logs and documentation of readings and actions taken.
