Job summary

TDIndustries is seeking a Building Technician III to lead and train a team while overseeing HVAC and related systems maintenance. You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components, manage inventory, and partner with engineers to implement process improvements across the facility.

Responsibilities include mentoring technicians, responding to service requests, reading blueprints, and ensuring safety policies. A strong background in carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.
• Ability to mentor technicians and lead maintenance tasks.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance, repairs, and facility tasks across trades.
• Mentor and train fellow Building Technicians.
• Respond to service work orders; diagnose faults in systems.
• Troubleshoot building management and energy systems.
• Ensure safety policies are followed and logs are updated.
• Collaborate with engineers to implement process improvements.
• Maintain inventory and prepare accurate documentation.
• Read blueprints/schematics to support repairs.
