Job summary

TDIndustries is seeking a Service Tech IV – HVAC to lead and mentor a team of service technicians, performing inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on commercial and residential systems.

You will diagnose performance, manage large projects, document status, train others, and ensure safety and customer satisfaction while upholding company standards across Texas markets. Based in Houston, you will collaborate with stakeholders and drive service excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant HVAC service experience.
• High School Diploma or GED; two-year technical degree preferred.
• Required registrations, licenses, or certifications as needed.
• Advanced knowledge of service processes, techniques, and codes.
• Ability to read complex schematics and prints.
• Self-managed, professional demeanor with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead technician and front-line resource for service techs.
• Inspect, diagnose, repair, service, and maintain HVAC systems.
• Coordinate work on large projects to meet deadlines.
• Document project status and communicate with stakeholders.
• Train and guide technicians; supervise subcontractors when needed.
• Safely operate tools, manage materials, and maintain inventory.
• Develop long-term customer relationships and ensure satisfaction.
