Job summary

Acloché LLC in Oklahoma City seeks a Senior HVAC Product Development Engineer to lead design and optimization of residential and commercial HVAC systems. You will manage end-to-end NPD projects, drive industry compliance, and collaborate with manufacturing, sales, quality, and supply chain teams.

Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering required; MS preferred. 10+ years in product design with at least two product releases.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required; Master’s degree preferred.
10+ years of product design and project engineering experience, with a track record of releasing at least two product families.
Strong knowledge of HVAC system design, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer.
Experience with DFSS/DFMA and Design for Manufacturing and Assembly.

Responsibilities

Design, optimize, and qualify residential and commercial HVAC systems using simulations, analytics, and experiments.
Lead end-to-end NPD projects across full product lifecycle, tracking timelines, costs, and KPIs.
Interface with regulatory and testing agencies to maintain compliance.
Provide technical guidance to manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and sales/marketing teams.
Prepare BOMs, engineering drawings, PCNs, and present designs to stakeholders and clients.
Mentor junior engineers and lead data analysis initiatives with a DFSS/DFMA focus.
