Job summary

Ron Sunshine Associates LLC in Oklahoma City is seeking a Senior HVAC Product Development Engineer to lead design, optimization, and sustaining engineering of residential and commercial HVAC products. You will manage end-to-end NPD projects, drive agency compliance, and provide cross-functional expertise across manufacturing, sales, quality, and supply chain teams.

The role emphasizes DFSS/DFMA, BOMs, drawings, PCNs, and hands-on testing to deliver market-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Master’s degree (MS) preferred.
• 10+ years of product design and project engineering experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, optimization, and qualification of HVAC systems.
• Manage NPD projects across full product lifecycle with timelines and KPIs.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and interface with testing agencies.
• Provide cross-functional guidance to manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and sales.
• Prepare BOMs, drawings, PCNs, and present designs to stakeholders.
• Mentor engineers and apply DFSS/DFMA practices.
