Job summary

Essenti Talent seeks a Senior HVAC Product Development Engineer to lead design, optimization, and sustaining engineering of our residential and commercial HVAC families in Oklahoma City. You will manage end-to-end NPD projects, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide cross-functional guidance to manufacturing, quality, sales, and supply chain.

The role requires a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering (MS preferred) and 10+ years of experience with a track record of releasing at least two

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; MS preferred.
• 10+ years of product design and project engineering experience with at least two product families released.

Responsibilities

• Design, optimize, and qualify residential and commercial HVAC systems using advanced simulation tools and experimental techniques.
• Manage individual NPD projects and track timelines, costs, and KPIs across the product lifecycle.
• Lead product qualification programs and interface with regulatory and testing agencies to maintain full industry compliance.
• Serve as a technical SME to manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and sales/marketing teams.
• Prepare BOMs, engineering drawings, PCNs, and present designs to stakeholders and clients.
• Guide less experienced engineers and apply DFSS and DFMA principles.
