Job summary

True North Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Senior HVAC Product Development Engineer in Oklahoma City to lead end-to-end design and optimization of HVAC products for residential and commercial use.

You will drive NPD projects, ensure compliance with industry standards, and collaborate with manufacturing, quality, sales, and supply chain teams to deliver market-ready solutions. The role requires extensive experience in HVAC systems, thermodynamics, and DoE, with a track record of releasing multiple

Qualifications

Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering required; MS preferred.
10+ years of product design and project engineering experience with release of at least two product families.
Proficiency in HVAC system design, thermodynamics, and DoE.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end NPD projects for residential and commercial HVAC products.
Drive agency compliance and interface with regulatory/testing bodies.
Provide cross-functional guidance to manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and sales/marketing teams.
Prepare BOMs, engineering drawings, PCNs, and present designs to stakeholders.
Mentor engineers and lead data analysis initiatives, applying DFSS/DFMA principles.
