Job summary

MDS Staffing seeks a Senior HVAC Product Development Engineer to lead the design, optimization, and sustaining engineering of HVAC product families in a dynamic environment. You will manage end-to-end New Product Development (NPD) projects, drive regulatory compliance, and provide expert guidance to manufacturing, marketing, quality, and supply chain teams.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of product design and project engineering experience, with a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and MS

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required; Master’s degree preferred.
10+ years of product design and project engineering experience.
Experience releasing at least two product families.

Responsibilities

Design, optimize, and qualify HVAC systems using simulations, analytics, and experiments.
Lead NPD projects across full product lifecycle, tracking timelines, costs, and KPIs.
Own product qualification programs and interface with regulatory/testing agencies.
Provide guidance to manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and sales teams.
Prepare BOMs, engineering drawings, PCNs, and present designs to stakeholders and clients.
Mentor engineers, drive data analysis, and apply DFSS/DFMA principles.
