Job summary

Top Echelon Software, LLC seeks a Senior HVAC Product Development Engineer to lead design, optimization, and sustaining engineering of residential and commercial HVAC systems. You will drive end-to-end NPD projects, ensure agency compliance, and provide cross-functional expertise across manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and sales teams.

The role requires a strong background in thermodynamics, DoE, and DFSS/DFMA, with 10+ years in product design and proven release of multiple product

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Master’s degree preferred.
10+ years of product design and project engineering experience.
Proven track record of releasing at least two product families.

Responsibilities

Design, optimize, and qualify HVAC systems using simulation tools, analytical methods, and experiments.
Manage NPD projects across full product lifecycle, tracking timelines, costs, and KPIs.
Lead product qualification programs and interface with regulatory/testing agencies for compliance.
Provide guidance to manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and sales/marketing teams.
Prepare BOMs, engineering drawings, PCNs, and present designs to stakeholders and clients.
Mentor engineers, lead data analysis initiatives, and apply DFSS/DFMA principles.
