Job summary

ExcelliSearch, Inc. seeks a Senior HVAC Product Development Engineer to lead design, optimization, and sustaining engineering of residential and commercial HVAC products.

You will manage end-to-end NPD projects, ensure agency compliance, and provide cross-functional expertise across manufacturing, sales, quality, and supply chain. The role emphasizes technical leadership, DOE/DoE data analysis, and hands-on lab testing with a focus on delivering market-ready HVAC solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; MS preferred.
• 10+ years of product design and project engineering experience; proven track record releasing two product families.
• EPA Section 608 Refrigerant Certification (Universal) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, optimize, and qualify residential and commercial HVAC systems using simulation tools, analytics, and experiments.
• Lead NPD projects, track timelines, costs, and KPIs across full product lifecycle.
• Lead product qualification programs and interface with regulatory/testing agencies for compliance.
• Provide guidance to manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and sales/marketing teams as SME.
• Prepare BOMs, engineering drawings, PCNs, and present designs to internal/external stakeholders.
• Mentor engineers, drive data analysis, and apply DFSS/DFMA principles.
