Job summary

The Keystone Distinction Group, a premier 100% employee-owned design/build mechanical contractor in the Madison area, seeks a Senior Commercial HVAC Estimator & AE. You will drive high-margin bids, build long-term relationships with general contractors, and translate complex client needs into robust design/build proposals.

Role combines office estimating with field visits and client consultations across Dane County and Southern Wisconsin, emphasizing autonomy, ESOP ownership, and rapid contract

Qualifications

5+ years in commercial HVAC or mechanical contracting with estimating/engineering experience.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, piping, and codes.
Proven track record closing with general contractors and owners.
Ability to manage multiple high-stakes bids with autonomy.

Responsibilities

Drive new construction and high-margin service contracts with GC/owners.
Accurately estimate equipment, labor, material, and vendor costs.
Translate requirements into high-margin design/build proposals.
Assemble clear, winning bid packages from quotes obtained.
Participate in pre-bid walkthroughs and handoff to field teams.
Maintain and expand relationships for recurring maintenance work.
