Job summary

Sora Resource Group in the Madison area is seeking a Senior Commercial HVAC Estimator & AE to drive high-margin bids and client relationships. This role blends office estimating with field visits and client consultations, offering ownership through ESOP and uncapped earnings potential.

You will build design/build proposals, grow key accounts, and lead bids across Southern Wisconsin while enjoying ownership-backed equity.

Qualifications

5+ years in commercial HVAC or mechanical contracting or technical equipment sales.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, piping, and building codes.
Proven track record closing business with general contractors, engineers, and facility owners.
US work authorization and residence within a 45-minute commute of Madison, WI; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Build long-term relationships with General Contractors, developers, and facility directors to win new construction and high-margin service contracts.
Accurately estimate equipment, labor, material, and vendor costs for commercial HVAC/projects using estimating software.
Lead design/build proposals in collaboration with internal engineering teams.
Assemble and submit clear, winning bid packages for commercial clients.
Participate in pre-bid walkthroughs, alignment meetings, and handoff reviews to transition work to field teams.
Manage and expand key account portfolios for recurring maintenance and retrofit contracts.
