MDS Staffing in the Madison, WI area seeks a Senior Commercial HVAC Estimator & AE to drive high-margin bids and client development. This direct-hire, employee-owned (ESOP) role offers a strong base plus uncapped commissions, with realized earnings potential of $150k-$300k+ and ESOP stock participation.

The position blends office estimating, site visits, and client consultations across Dane County and Southern Wisconsin, focusing on health care, higher education, and multi-story projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in commercial HVAC or mechanical contracting with estimating/engineering or sales exposure.
• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, ductwork, piping, and codes.
• Proven track record closing business with general contractors and facility owners.
• Willing to commute within 45 minutes of Greater Madison, WI, with a valid driver's license.
• US work authorization (U.S. Citizenship or Green Card).

Responsabilités

• Build long-term relationships with General Contractors and developers to win contracts.
• Accurately estimate equipment, labor, material, and vendor costs for HVAC/piping projects.
• Translate requirements into high-margin design/build proposals with internal engineers.
• Assemble and submit clear bid packages for commercial clients.
• Participate in pre-bid walkthroughs and handoff reviews.
• Maintain and expand relationships for maintenance and retrofit contracts.
