Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is an AI-first digital agency focused on HVAC and home services for multi-location groups. As Director of Business Development for HVAC, you own the largest multi-location deals from first meeting with ownership to signed contracts.

This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, targeting multi-location HVAC groups. Annual quota is $2M, with meetings booked by our SDR team or inbound, and deals spanning several locations.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of closing $1M+ annually on large, multi-location or enterprise accounts.
• Experience selling into HVAC groups or multi-location buyers of marketing/agency services.
• Long, consultative sales cycles with multiple decision-makers.

Responsibilities

• Own full sales cycle: discovery, proposal, negotiation and close (3–12 months).
• Engage owners, regional operators and marketing leaders in deal discussions.
• Expand deals to additional locations and services after signing.
• Collaborate with strategists and leadership to craft proposals for top deals.
