Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking an Head of Business Development for HVAC to own our largest multi-location deals from first meeting to signed contract. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, focused on strategic accounts across the US and Canada.

You will close deals that span multiple locations, coordinate with owners and operators, and expand after sign. Inbound and SDRs provide qualified meetings; your time will be spent on discovery, proposals, negotiation and closing.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of closing large multi-location deals.
• Experience selling to HVAC groups or multi-location buyers.
• Long, consultative sales cycles with several decision makers.
• Focus on closing rather than people management.

Responsibilities

• Own the full cycle on large deals: discovery, proposal, negotiation and close (3–12 months).
• Engage with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders at the table.
• Drive expansion to more locations and services after a signed contract.
• Prepare proposals with strategists and leadership for key deals.
