Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is a remote-first AI-first digital agency seeking a Head of Business Development for HVAC. You own the largest multi-location HVAC deals from initial meeting to signed contract, with time spent closing rather than managing people.

You’ll handle strategic accounts that cover many locations, expanding services as groups sign on. You will work with our sales development and inbound leads to target multi-location HVAC and home service groups, with a $2M annual quota and a focus on

Qualifications

• A track record of closing $1M+ annually on large multi-location or enterprise accounts.
• Experience selling into HVAC groups or marketing/agency services to multi-location buyers.
• Long, consultative sales cycles with multiple decision makers.

Responsibilities

• Own the full cycle on large deals: discovery, proposal, negotiation and close, 3–12 months.
• Engage with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders at the table.
• Drive expansion to add locations and services after a group signs.
• Collaborate with strategists and leadership to build proposals for the most important deals.
