Jacobs in the United States is seeking an experienced HVAC Designer to join our Building Mechanical team. You will work with engineers and designers on field investigations, sizing equipment, and preparing construction design packages for heavy industrial clients.

You will be responsible for schedule and technical quality, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams, and delivering cost-effective HVAC solutions including chilled water and other systems.

Qualifications

• Ten+ years of HVAC design experience for industrial facilities.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Thorough knowledge of HVAC codes and standards.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, multi-deadline team.
• Ability to collaborate with the project team remotely.

Responsibilities

• Layout and design of HVAC systems.
• Develop conceptual and preliminary designs, sizing calculations, AFDS, P&IDs, and layouts.
• Develop final construction documents for HVAC systems (e.g., chilled water, cooling water).
• Coordinate with other disciplines.
