Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced HVAC Designer to join our Building Mechanical team and help deliver innovative HVAC design solutions for heavy industrial clients, including field investigations and equipment sizing.

You will develop conceptual through final construction documents (cooling water, chilled water), coordinate with other disciplines, and manage schedule and technical quality on multi-location projects.

Qualifications

• Ten years’ experience designing HVAC systems for industrial facilities.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to HVAC design.
• Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment.
• Ability to collaborate with project teams remotely.

Responsibilities

• Layout and design of HVAC systems.
• Development of conceptual and final construction documents (incl. cooling water, chilled water).
• Development of Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs) and P&IDs.
• Coordination with other disciplines.
