Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced HVAC Designer to join our Building Mechanical team in the Advanced Manufacturing Group. You will size and select equipment and prepare construction design packages for heavy industrial clients.

You’ll be responsible for schedule and technical quality, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team while working remotely. The role offers hybrid work with opportunities to impact major projects across markets.

Qualifications

• Ten years of HVAC design experience for industrial facilities.
• Proficiency in Revit and knowledge of HVAC codes and standards.
• Adaptability to fast-paced, deadline-driven teams.
• Ability to collaborate with project teams remotely.

Responsibilities

• Layout and design HVAC systems for industrial facilities.
• Develop conceptual and preliminary design documents with calculations, AFDs and P&IDs.
• Develop final construction documents for systems such as chilled water and cooling water.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure integrated designs.
