Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced HVAC Designer for its Building Mechanical team to deliver innovative HVAC design solutions for heavy industrial clients. You will conduct field investigations, interface with clients and vendors, size and select equipment, and prepare construction design packages.

You will manage schedule and technical quality across a multi-discipline team, coordinate with disciplines, and contribute to well-designed strategies tailored for multiple markets and locations.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years designing HVAC systems for industrial facilities.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to HVAC design.

Responsibilities

• Layout and design of HVAC systems for industrial facilities.
• Development of conceptual and preliminary design documents with sizing, AFDS, and P&IDs.
• Development of final construction documents for systems like chilled water and cooling water.
• Coordination with other disciplines.
