Job summary

GFT is seeking an experienced Substation P & C Designer to join our Power Group. The position can be remote or hybrid and involves the design and execution of high-voltage substation projects up to 765 kV. Candidates should have 5+ years in electrical T&D design and proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant substation or general electrical T&D designing experience.
• Proficiency with computer-aided drafting tools such as AutoCAD and MicroStation.
• Knowledge of National Electrical Safety Code (NESC), National Electrical Code (NEC), and IEEE standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute high-voltage substation projects focusing on safety, cost, quality, and reliability.
• Generate detailed engineering deliverables under supervision.
• Complete basic engineering calculations related to design and engineering deliverables.
