Job summary

SOLV Energy is looking for a remote Commissioning Engineer to lead commissioning and energization activities for utility-scale HV substations and BESS. This role requires collaboration with project managers and field services, ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in testing and commissioning of HV substations, BESS, and utility-scale PV facilities.
• 3–4 years’ experience performing and directing high voltage switching operations.
• NETA Certification (Level II, III, or IV) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning and initial energization of HV substations.
• Develop Testing & Commissioning Plans based on specifications.
• Provide technical support for site events and training.
