Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to lead testing and commissioning for utility-scale high-voltage substations and battery energy storage systems. This is a remote role requiring 8-10 years of relevant experience, including high voltage switching operations.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in testing and commissioning of HV substations, BESS, and utility-scale PV facilities.
• 3–4 years’ experience performing high voltage switching operations.
• NETA Certification (Level II, III, or IV) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support testing, commissioning, and energization activities for utility-scale projects.
• Develop Testing & Commissioning Plans aligned with specifications.
• Provide on-call technical support for site events and system trips.
