Job summary

SOLV Energy is looking for a Commissioning Engineer who will lead and support testing and commissioning for utility-scale high-voltage substations and battery energy storage systems. This fully remote role offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to contribute to significant energy projects.

The successful candidate will develop and execute comprehensive commissioning plans, perform high voltage switching operations, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Applicants must have relevant degrees, certifications, and substantial experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in testing and commissioning of HV substations.
• 3–4 years’ experience performing high voltage switching operations.
• NETA Certification (Level II, III, or IV).

Responsibilities

• Lead and support testing and commissioning activities for HV substations.
• Develop Testing & Commissioning Plans aligned with project specifications.
• Perform high voltage switching operations as required for commissioning activities.
