Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Commissioning Engineer responsible for leading testing and commissioning for utility-scale HV substations and battery storage systems. This fully remote role involves developing commissioning plans and supporting onsite training for stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years of experience in HV substations and strong expertise in power quality and safety protocols. Benefits include medical and dental insurance and a competitive salary range of $115,576 - $141,581.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in testing and commissioning HV substations and utility-scale PV facilities.
• 3–4 years’ experience performing and directing high voltage switching operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop Testing & Commissioning Plans aligned with project specifications.
• Lead and support initial substation energization activities.
• Provide post‑energization technical support and training.
