Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Commissioning Engineer responsible for leading testing and commissioning of utility-scale high-voltage substations and battery energy storage systems. The role involves working closely with various stakeholders to ensure project safety and compliance.

The ideal candidate has over 8 years of experience, strong technical knowledge, and excellent communication skills. This position allows for remote work, offering a salary between $115,576 and $141,581 and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in testing and commissioning of HV substations, BESS, and utility-scale PV facilities.
• 3–4 years’ experience performing and directing high voltage switching operations.
• 1–2 years of experience developing commissioning plans and energization procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support testing, commissioning, and initial energization activities.
• Develop Testing & Commissioning Plans aligned with project specifications.
• Perform high voltage switching operations for initial energization.
