Job summary

SOLV Energy is looking for a highly qualified Commissioning Engineer to spearhead testing and commissioning for HV substations, battery energy storage systems, and photovoltaic facilities. You will ensure safe and compliant energization activities while serving as a primary technical interface across various stakeholders.

This position is fully remote, requiring occasional travel of 20-30%. Ideal candidates will have a robust background in electrical engineering with 8-10 years of relevant experience. Comprehensive benefits are provided, including health insurance and a competitive salary range.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in testing and commissioning of HV substations, BESS, and utility-scale PV facilities.
• 3–4 years’ experience performing high voltage switching operations.
• 1–2 years of experience developing commissioning plans and technical training materials.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support testing, commissioning, and initial energization activities for HV substations, BESS, and PV facilities.
• Develop Testing & Commissioning Plans aligned with project specifications.
• Provide on-call technical support for site events.
