Job summary

SOLV Energy seeks a Commissioning Engineer responsible for leading testing and commissioning of utility-scale projects. This role requires leading commissioning activities and some travel. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and 8-10 years of relevant experience.

The role offers a competitive salary range of $115,576 to $141,581 along with benefits including medical and retirement plans. This position is fully remote, with extensive opportunities to develop technical skills and support community equity initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in testing and commissioning of HV substations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven commitment to safety with an excellent safety record.

Responsibilities

• Lead initial energization activities for utility-scale facilities.
• Develop Testing & Commissioning Plans aligned with project specifications.
• Provide onsite training and mentor junior staff.
