Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to lead and support the testing and commissioning of utility-scale HV substations, battery storage, and solar facilities. This fully remote position requires a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and 8-10 years of relevant experience.

Key responsibilities include developing commissioning plans, performing high voltage switching, and overseeing initial energization activities. Employees receive comprehensive benefits and competitive salary ranging from $115,576 to $141,581.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in testing and commissioning of HV substations, BESS, and utility-scale PV facilities.
• 3-4 years’ experience performing and directing high voltage switching operations.
• Proven commitment to safety with an excellent safety record.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support testing and commissioning activities for utility-scale projects.
• Develop Testing & Commissioning plans aligned with project specifications.
• Perform high voltage switching operations as required.
