Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Commissioning Engineer responsible for leading testing and commissioning of utility-scale high-voltage systems. This role involves traveling 20–30% and technical leadership across projects.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and 8-10 years of relevant experience. The position offers a salary range of $115,576 - $141,581, along with comprehensive benefits including medical insurance and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in testing and commissioning of HV substations, BESS, and utility-scale PV facilities.
• Experience performing and directing high voltage switching operations.
• Strong technical knowledge of protection and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support testing and commissioning activities for high-voltage substations.
• Develop Testing & Commissioning Plans aligned with project specifications.
• Provide onsite training and mentor junior staff.
