Job summary

SOLV Energy is looking for a Commissioning Engineer to oversee testing and commissioning for high-voltage substations and solar energy projects. This position requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and significant experience in HV systems.

Responsibilities include developing commissioning plans, performing high voltage switching, and providing technical training. The role is fully remote, with benefits including medical insurance and a 401(k) plan.

Competitive salary between $115,576 and $141,581 is offered for this role.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in testing and commissioning of HV substations and PV facilities.
• 3-4 years’ experience performing and directing high voltage switching operations.
• NETA Certification (Level II, III, or IV) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support testing, commissioning, and energization activities for utility-scale projects.
• Develop Testing & Commissioning Plans aligned with requirements.
• Provide technical support for site events.
