Job summary

SOLV Energy is hiring a Commissioning Engineer to lead testing and commissioning for high-voltage substations and battery storage systems. This remote position requires experience in high voltage operations and significant technical knowledge in the energy sector.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and 8–10 years of relevant experience. The compensation range is $115,576 - $141,581. Join our commitment to safety and inclusive work culture.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in testing and commissioning of HV substations.
• 3–4 years’ experience performing and directing high voltage switching operations.
• NETA Certification (Level II, III, or IV) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead testing, commissioning, and initial energization activities.
• Develop T&C Plans aligned with project specifications.
• Provide onsite training and mentor junior staff.
