Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Power Delivery - Project Manager to lead high voltage substation and transmission line projects. Based in Houston, with options for remote work, you will oversee scope, schedule, budget, and risk while coordinating with clients and engineering teams.

You will mentor staff, drive QA/QC, and ensure compliance with safety standards, contracts, and corporate procedures. The role demands travel for face-to-face meetings and ongoing business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field in Power & Energy.
• 12 years of post-education project management experience in Power Delivery/Utility Industry.
• Experience leading engineering/construction teams for HV/EHV substations and/or transmission lines.
• Experience with PM processes: contract, risk, schedule, cost, QA/QC.

Responsibilities

• Provide PM leadership for HV/EHV substation and transmission line projects, manage budgets, forecasts, margins and KPIs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders; report on progress.
• Lead pursuit activities, go/no-go decisions, and contract reviews.
• Coordinate resource and subcontracting needs; participate in contract negotiations and client presentations.
• Ensure QA/QC and documentation, risk management, and project closeout activities.
