Job summary

Ramboll in the Americas seeks a Senior HSE Leader to provide strategic HSE governance across its EPC/EPCM project portfolio. You will align contractors, project teams, and client expectations to enable safe, compliant execution on large-scale construction programs.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong contractor management, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. A remote option is available, with travel to project locations as needed, to advance Ramboll’s safety

Qualifications

10+ years of on-site HSE leadership with large EPC/EPCM exposure.
Experience coordinating multi-contractor, high-risk industrial construction.
Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.

Responsibilities

Strategic HSE Leadership: Lead the development of a portfolio-wide HSE approach and serve as primary HSE advisor to project leadership.
Safety Program Organization & Implementation: Define scalable HSE structures and standardized execution plans across all project phases.
Contractor & Multi-Party Coordination: Align HSE expectations across contractors, vendors, and third-party stakeholders.
Risk Management, Governance and Assurance: Provide governance over risk management, incident investigation, and site controls.
Safety Culture & Engagement: Demonstrate visible HSE leadership and promote open communication and continuous improvement.
Regulatory & Compliance Oversight: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and Ramboll standards.
Performance Management & Reporting: Establish consistent HSE performance reporting with leading and lagging indicators.
