Job summary

Ramboll is seeking an experienced HSE leader to provide senior oversight across its EPC/EPCM portfolio in the Americas. The role focuses on establishing consistent HSE governance, aligning contractors and project teams, and enabling safe, compliant execution on multiple concurrent projects.

The ideal candidate brings substantial field experience on large-scale construction, strong stakeholder influence, and capabilities in risk-based HSE execution across diverse settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive on-site HSE leadership experience with large-scale EPC/EPCM projects.
• Strong background supporting multi-contractor, high-risk industrial construction environments.
• Ability to influence without direct authority.
• Experience with contractor management, incident investigation, assurance and regulatory compliance.
• Willingness to travel regularly to project locations and engage with field teams and clients.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Preferred: CSP, CMIOSH, NEBOSH, CRSP or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead portfolio-wide HSE approach development enabling consistent standards and execution.
• Serve as primary HSE advisor to Project Directors and EPC/EPCM leadership.
• Drive adoption of Ramboll's HSE program and translate expectations into project-level actions.
• Provide governance over risk management processes and assurance activities.
• Conduct site visits and oversight to ensure effective HSE controls are applied.
