Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR Management or PHR/SPHR certification.
• 7-10 years HR experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity.
• Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
• Working knowledge of ADP or payroll/report software.
• Thorough knowledge of FMLA, HIPAA, COBRA, NLRA, ERISA, Civil Rights laws (ADA, Title VII, etc.).
• Working knowledge of environmental, health and safety regulations.
• Working Knowledge of workers’ compensation system
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Public speaking ability and presentations
• Ability to train other workers and manage staff

Responsibilities

• Update job requirements and descriptions for all positions.
• Direct HR staff and coordinate employment, compensation, benefits, payroll, training, recruitment, and safety functions.
• Ensure safety requirements and PPE compliance.
• Guide and manage team to meet KPIs and performance metrics.
• Develop and administer compensation and recognition programs.
• Develop company communications plan to inform employees about performance and culture changes.
• Consult with Leadership on organizational design and leadership development.
• Stay up to date with local, state, and federal employment regulations.
• Oversee training efforts and manage training vendors.
