Job summary

Neuse-Enterprises-Inc in North Carolina is seeking a full-time Human Resources Manager to lead the HR function, oversee ADP payroll, and manage benefits, employee relations, and talent acquisition. The role runs Monday–Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a focus on compliance and operational HR excellence.

The ideal candidate will drive performance management, employee development, and policy implementation while upholding confidentiality and providing strategic HR guidance to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive HR experience.
• Hands-on experience with payroll processing.
• Experience administering employee benefits.
• Experience handling employee relations matters, including investigations.
• Experience managing or supporting full-cycle recruitment.
• Experience working with an HRIS.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures.
• Serve as a trusted HR resource to leadership and employees.
• Stay current on HR regulations, trends, and best practices.
• Lead payroll processing and maintain accurate timekeeping.
