Job summary

The Salvation Army in Southfield, MI is seeking a Divisional Human Resources Manager to lead the HR department, oversee compliance, compensation, benefits, and performance management, and serve as the primary contact for staff seeking HR services. You will drive recruitment for managerial and professional roles, manage payroll accuracy in ADP, and ensure up-to-date job descriptions and training.

A minimum of five years in HR and a Bachelor's degree are required, with supervisory experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, accounting, or finance, or an equivalent mix of training and experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources.
• Leadership or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the HR department including full cycle employment management, compliance, compensation, benefits and performance management.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with federal and state laws and OSHA, FMLA, DOL, ADA, EEO.
• Oversee payroll data entry in ADP and accuracy of HR profiles.
• Manage talent acquisition from posting to hire for managerial and professional roles.
• Support HR team during peak periods with payroll, onboarding, and background checks.
