Job summary

CAI is seeking an HR Compliance Manager to lead our HR compliance program and act as a subject‑matter expert across the organization. You will partner with HR, Legal, and governance teams to translate federal, state, and local requirements into clear policies and reliable operations for a multi‑state workforce, including contingent workers.

The role emphasizes leadership and collaboration, with a focus on staying audit‑ready and integrating AI risk considerations into HR practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, legal studies, or related field.
Seven or more years of progressive HR compliance or employment law experience, including multi-state compliance.
Two or more years of experience managing or leading people, and experience drafting policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Own the HR compliance program and policy ownership, including drafting and publishing policies and SOPs.
Monitor federal, state, and local employment laws and advise on policy changes.
Prepare workforce reports and certifications and support affirmative action plans.
Oversee pre-employment screening and adjudication standards.
Lead audit support and client compliance activities.
Oversee AI governance risk in HR tools and data.
