Job summary

CAI is seeking an experienced HR Compliance Manager to lead the HR Compliance team, turning federal, state, and local labor requirements into clear policies and reliable operations across a multi-state workforce including contingent workers. The role partners with HR, Governance, Legal, and executive leadership to reduce risk and maintain audit readiness.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, legal studies, or a related field.
Seven or more years of progressive HR compliance or employment law experience, including multi-state compliance.
Two or more years of experience managing or leading people, and experience drafting policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Own and manage HR compliance program and policies, including SOPs and annual reviews.
Monitor federal, state, and local employment laws and advise policy changes.
Support audits and government reporting; partner with Legal and Governance on complex matters.
Lead AI governance and risk related to HR tools and processes.
Manage Workday compliance workflows and HRIS integration with Onboarding and Talent Development.
