Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking an on-site Superintendent to oversee construction of multiple homes from permit to closing, ensuring schedule adherence, quality, and safety.

You will coordinate subcontractors, reviews, and customer handoffs while maintaining the company’s construction standards. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to manage budgets, and proficiency with construction apps.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret construction documents, drawings, specifications.
• Knowledge of municipal permitting, regulations and building codes.
• Ability to manage multiple homes and subcontractors to meet schedule and budget.
• Strong verbal and written communication with customers and team.

Responsibilities

• Manage the construction schedule to deliver quality homes on time and within budget.
• Schedule and supervise subcontractors for each phase and ensure code compliance.
• Oversee homeowner walks, progress updates, and warranty-related activities.
• Maintain site cleanliness and safety standards on every project.
• Coordinate with sales, warranty, and management teams for open communication.
