Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc., the nation’s largest homebuilder, is seeking a Superintendent to manage all functions of the job site from permit to closing across multiple home communities.

You will schedule and supervise subcontractors, oversee quality, safety and customer experience, and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery while maintaining company standards. Ideal candidates will have strong communication and organizational skills, a high school diploma, and related construction experience.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret construction documents, drawings, specifications, and scopes of work.
• Ability to manage multiple home sites and lead subcontractors effectively.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage the construction schedule to deliver high-quality homes on time and within budget.
• Coordinate subcontractors for each phase and monitor workmanship for compliance.
• Oversee post-close warranty process and customer communication.
• Maintain site safety, cleanliness, and regulatory adherence.
• Communicate progress and issues to the sales and management team.
