Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Superintendent to manage multi-home construction projects from permit to close. You will schedule and supervise job-site subcontractors, conduct homeowner walkthroughs, and ensure safety and quality standards are met while delivering projects on schedule and within budget.

The role requires coordinating with sales, warranty, and management teams to provide exceptional customer service and produce high-quality homes for entry-level and move-up markets.

Qualifications

• GED required.
• 2–4 years related experience.
• Able to read construction documents, drawings and specs.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle.
• Willingness to drive among communities.
• Proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction schedule and deliver high quality homes on time and within budget.
• Coordinate subcontractors and verify workmanship to meet codes and standards.
• Complete homes from planning to occupancy per contract obligations.
• Inspect work, halt noncompliant activities and authorize payments after inspection.
• Oversee customer experience and provide regular progress updates.
• Ensure site cleanliness, safety, and organization throughout construction.
• Oversee post-close warranty processes and schedule follow-ups.
• Communicate with sales and management to resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of building codes and DRH systems.
