Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. in Reno, NV is currently seeking a Superintendent to oversee the construction of single-family homes from permits through closeout.

You will schedule and supervise subcontractors, conduct homeowner walkthroughs, ensure safety standards, and maintain schedule and budget while delivering high-quality homes. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, experience reading construction drawings, and proficiency with MS Office and DRH Construction applications.

Qualifications

• Experience managing home construction projects and crews.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the construction schedule and ensure the highest quality product is delivered on time and within budget.
• Schedule subcontractors for each phase and evaluate workmanship for compliance with plans and codes.
• Oversee site activities from planning through occupancy, ensuring contract obligations are met.
• Conduct homeowner walkthroughs and provide regular progress updates to customers.
