D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Superintendent to oversee multiple home construction projects from permit to closing. You will manage schedules, coordinate subcontractors, inspect workmanship, and ensure compliance with plans, codes, and safety standards.

The role emphasizes customer service, timely communication, and maintaining quality across sites while managing budgets and timelines. A strong candidate builds relationships with homeowners and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED; two to four years of related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents, drawings and specs.
• Experience managing budgets and scheduling across multiple homes.
• Strong communication with customers, subcontractors and management.
• Proficiency with DRH Construction applications and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage the construction schedule to deliver quality homes on time and within budget.
• Coordinate subcontractors for each phase and ensure workmanship meets plans and codes.
• Oversee home sites from planning to occupancy and complete contract obligations.
• Inspect work, authorize payments, and enforce quality standards on site.
• Maintain customer satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution.
